Enjoy a relaxing stay in the comfort of our cosy pub in accommodation overlooking the old market square. You could choose to explore the many sites of South Shields and still spend an evening or two with friendly locals in our popular bar where you can sip quality cask ales while watching, sports on our big screen, or live music or even join in yourself singing on the karaoke!

There is no accommodation closer to the town centre where we occupy a privileged position literally one minute walk away from the Market and new 24 hour Asda, and five minutes away from retail shops, restaurants and bars. Both the Tyne dock and our beautiful sandy beaches are also a short walk away. A twenty-minute walk will take you to the beautiful South and North Marine Parks and Golden Beaches.
